This step-down (buck) DC-DC voltage converter is completely encapsulated. It is waterproof, shockproof and ignition protected. Not isolated (common ground; current flows from non-regulated input to regulated output).

Water, oil or dirt will not damage this Orion IP67 DC-DC Converter. The casing is made of cast aluminium and the electronics are molded in resin.

Extra-long 1.8m (5.9 ft) cables, extension splices to increase their length will not be needed in most cases. This is an important consideration for reliability in areas where IP67 water/dust protection is needed.

With 15 to 40 Volts input range, a stable output is ensured during surges or sags due to other equipment connected to the same battery.

This DC/DC Converter is protected against overheating. It can be used in hot environments such as machine rooms.
IP67 Dust/Water-resistance rating: totally protected against dust/protected from water up to 1 meter deep for short periods.

Four cables:
Positive (red; requires fuse) and negative (black) for the supply
Positive (yellow) and negative (black) for the load
