Buying Guide
To select the perfect FE Bar for your vehicle, it's essential to consider a few things for optimal performance and fit. Here's a quick guide to help you decide what is best for your needs.
Recommended Sizes and Uses
10" or 20" Bar
Best For: Front bumpers
These compact light bars are ideal for providing excellent forward visibility without taking up too much space.
30" or 40" Bar
Best For: Aftermarket roof racks or UTVs
Perfect for mounting on aftermarket roof racks with wind fairing cutouts, the 30" or 40" bars offer sleek appearance with plenty of output.
50" Bar
Best For: Overhead configurations
Suited for overhead or roof-mounted setups, these deliver the maximum trail-illuminating brightness in a streamlined package.
How to Measure
To determine the appropriate size for your vehicle or mounts, measure the intended mounting location's width and compare it to the light bar's dimensions. Ensure there is extra space outside of the mounts hardware, typically an additional 0.5-1 inch on each side.
Installation Tips
Check out our Vehicle Specific Kits to determine if we offer any mounts for where you want to mount your light bar.
Double-check the mounting surface and ensure it is sturdy enough to support the light bar.
If mounting overhead, consider using a Wire Hider to cleanly and securely route your wire harness up the windshield.
