Description

Not everyone is planning to drive around the world. That's the honest truth, and it's exactly why Eezi-Awn built the Jazz. It's a true Eezi-Awn tent — built on the same production lines, by the same people, with many of the same components — but spec'd for the overlander who wants serious quality at a more attainable price. The Jazz uses 280GSM Teflon-coated polyester ripstop instead of the Series 3's heavier wax-cotton canvas, which keeps the weight and cost down without sacrificing what matters most: build integrity and weather protection. If you're doing weekend runs and seasonal trips rather than year-long expeditions, the Jazz is exactly right.

• Eezi-Awn's Folding Platform Design: The same proven system as the flagship Series 3. Solid, well-engineered, and capable of functioning as a trailer tent depending on trailer height.
• 280GSM Teflon-Coated Polyester Ripstop: Lighter than the Series 3's canvas but still a legitimate weather-capable material. The Teflon coating provides strong water and UV resistance. Window coverings are integrated into the rain fly to reduce material complexity and weight.
• Same Production Line as Series 3: Built in the same facility with many of the same components. The Jazz doesn't cut corners on hardware — the weight savings come from the lighter fabric, not from substituting plastic for metal.
• Multiple Size Options: Four sizes accommodate solo campers through families. The 1200 sleeps two adults; the 1800 comfortably handles two adults and children.
• Integrated Window Covers: Side window coverings are part of the rain fly rather than separate panels — a simplified system that reduces setup steps and material failure points.
• Moranti Plywood Floor: Same condensation-free, insulating floor as the Series 3. No aluminum floor that sweats. No condensation sheet required.

COMPATIBILITY

Mounts to most roof racks and crossbars via the standard Eezi-Awn aluminum extrusion mounting system. Compatible with K9, Thule, Yakima, and similar crossbar systems. OEM factory bars are typically insufficient — we recommend a proper load bar upgrade before installing any roof top tent. The Jazz can also double as a trailer tent depending on trailer height.

This product is covered by a 2-Year Limited Manufacturer Warranty. Warranty service for US customers is handled directly by Equipt Expedition Outfitters.
