Description
Easier Access to the Small ESS Battery
We may never understand why Jeep decided to put the ESS battery in an inaccessible location under the fuse box, but we have a fix for that. This kit will relocate the stock ESS battery on top of the fuse box for easier access for servicing it in the future.
This kit is perfect for Jeep owners who like the ESS system and do NOT want to disable it, but want an easier way to maintain or replace the small stock battery in the future. No more removing the factory fuse box or pulling out the inner fender liner to access your small battery!
This kit can be easily upgraded to our full dual battery system by replacing the top bracket with the Gen 3 Power Hub.

Battery Requirements
Requires the stock Aux 14 size ESS battery and the stock Group 94R Crank battery.
* NOTE Jeep used 2 different sizes for the large battery. Depending on your vehicle's options, your stock battery may be a Group 48 or a Group 94R. This kit is designed to hold the Group 94R size only. If you are replacing your original stock Group 48 battery, you'll need to get the 94R. They are normally the same price but the 94R has more capacity and more cold cranking amps so there is no benefit of using the smaller Group 48 size.
You can use any battery brand. We offer the Aux 14 size from Odyssey, and the Group 94R from both Odyssey and Full Throttle. These are the highest quality AGM batteries on the market. Add one or both of these from the options above.
Batteries ordered from us will ship separately from a warehouse located in Southern California.
ESS Functionality
All wiring remains 100% stock, with no changes to the ESS (Engine Stop Start) system at all.
Install Time
Approximately 2 hours on a stock vehicle. Add time as appropriate if you need to move some aftermarket devices or reroute accessory wires.
Shipping
Processing Times
In-Stock Items: Most orders placed by 3 PM CST are processed and shipped the same day. Orders placed after 3 PM CST or on weekends/holidays will begin processing the next business day.
Out of Stock Items: These items may take longer to ship. Estimated lead times will be provided on the product page or during checkout.
Transit Times
When selecting the shipping method for your order, please keep in mind that when we show shipping days, we are referring to business days. Business days are defined as Monday through Friday, with the exception of holidays observed by UPS.

Shipping Methods & Carriers
We offer multiple shipping options at checkout, including standard and expedited services.
Expedited shipping is available on 'In Stock' products only. Non-stock items will ship as soon as they become available.
Orders are shipped via UPS or US Postal Service based on the selected method at checkout.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight, size, and destination of your order.
We make every effort to keep the shipping costs as low as possible.
International Shipping
We ship to select international locations. Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees. These fees are not collected at checkout.
Delivery times for international orders vary depending on the destination and customs clearance.
Order Tracking
Once we generate your shipping label, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. You can use this to monitor the progress of your shipment.
Lost, Damaged, or Delayed Shipments
If your shipment is delayed, damaged, or lost in transit, please contact us at info@genesisoffroad.com as soon as possible. We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Damaged items must be reported within 3 days of receipt, with photos of the packaging and product from multiple angles.
Package Theft or Loss After Delivery
Once a package is marked as "Delivered" by the carrier, we are no longer responsible for its security. Please ensure that the shipping address provided is safe and secure for package delivery.
If you believe your package was stolen, we recommend:
Checking with neighbors or others in your household who might have received it.
Contacting the carrier directly for assistance with locating the package.
Filing a theft report with your local authorities if necessary.
To help avoid theft, you may consider requesting delivery to a secure location, such as a business address, or using carrier services like FedEx Delivery Manager or UPS My Choice to schedule deliveries or provide specific instructions.
Address Accuracy
Please ensure your shipping address is accurate during checkout. We are not responsible for delays or additional fees due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.
Returns Due to Non-Delivery
If an order is returned to us due to a failed delivery attempt, incorrect address, or refusal, you may be responsible for additional shipping fees to re-ship the order.
